Hey to all my people! So what happened last week? No one was asking me, so I will relate. Well on the path to rediscovery and generally losing sight of the things I had been pushing forward with it was no great surprise that I had a creative block on top of it all. However, that worked itself out with a little self pep talk and binge watched all of The Lord of the Rings which got me out of the rut. No, not really but watching it made me feel I can accomplish anything just like Frodo and for me it was simply… just… create. I was beginning to wonder if I was actually in a rut as it was I that decidedly dropped the ball on all the projects at hand. So I scheduled my day Pomodoro style and began working through my to do list. Lists are dreamy to me and as I struck things of that list one by one closing in those 25 minute sessions my head began to clear and there was a sense of relief. Got the business development side of things accomplished, got some quick video tutorials completed to brush up some design skills and got stuck straight into painting. Whenever I’m stuck I go through my endless stream of photos I have carefully archived digitally and can find an abundance of inspiration. It’s not often we peruse through digital content in the same way we did with developed films, sitting with giant albums of sometimes poorly shot photographs. I miss those days somewhat. Do you?
